FMEA & Functional Safety

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis is an established instrument for identifying and correcting errors or potential sources of errors in the design of products and the associated manufacturing and assembly processes. Due to the distinction between system, design and process FMEA, Porsche Engineering takes all potential error sources into account. With regard to functional safety, we also determine the risks associated with the function to be implemented and thus further reduce potential dangers.
