Stuttgart/Prague. Dr.-Ing. Miloš Polášek (35) has been appointed new managing director of Porsche Engineering Services s.r.o. (PES) in Prague. He replaces Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jaroslav Talácko, who passed away in March at the age of 64. PES Prague is primarily active in the area of technical calculation and simulation, both for in-house and customer developments of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart. Polášek is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University in Prague.

Porsche and TU Prague have collaborated closely since 1996. In 2001, the successful cooperation between industry and science led to the founding of PES Prague, in which Professor Talácko was considerably involved. In order to cement the relationship between the two partners, the top three theses of students at the Technical University of Prague have been presented with the “Porsche Engineering Award” since 2005.

PES Prague is a full subsidiary of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH (PEG) in Weissach, which controls and markets the worldwide customer developments of Porsche AG.
